After careful consideration, I am closing Lumos Maxima. Everything is being moved to Livejournal. With the amount of relentless and juvenile stealing that is going on and growing here at Xanga, it is no longer a place I trust to share my graphics. To those loyal fans, thank you.

Good evening, everyone!

I just want to make everyone aware of a few changes to the site today. The links over at the right module have been edited slightly, making way for some new and returning pages. First off, the PoA smiley set is back up and running, so you'll find the link to the code over under 'Smiley Sets'. The Malfoy version as well as a new GoF smiley set will follow shortly :). A new link addition is the 'Layout Tutorial'. This is a step-by-step guide to installing one of my layouts. I realize that some of you are new to Xanga or just need some extra help with using the layouts, so I hope this will be of some help!

Hey everyone!

Everyone enjoying the New Year? I think 2006 is splendid thus far :). I've been quite busy with all sorts of things, making graphics being one of them, of course! With that, I've been commissioned (aka paid) to make a layout for a fellow Xangan, so that has been the top priority over the other I make with my free time, I'm afraid! I'll say now that I'd be more than happy to design a fully customized layout that only you have the code to under a commission (I don't have a set price; it's more of a donation). I really wish I could do one for anyone who asks like I had in the past, but it just takes up too much time that I need to make money at a job! So if anyone is interested, let me know!

I did have time to make some HP graphics, however.

Hey everyone!

I've been missing all your comments! They seem to have slowed down dramatically although the counter is way up - I miss the comments! It's nice when someone likes your work, and I just love hearing from fellow HP fans :). It's not about some popularity contest or votes needed to make more layouts, I make the graphics for all of you to use and enjoy! I saw that comment riddleonprozac made about me and it was very un-called for and unjust. I have never even spoken to her, and I make Xanga things so people can customize their sites - and that makes me 'full of myself'? I am quite offended by the accusation. If she has something she needs to say, she can please say it to my face.

Anyways, onto better things. HP goodies!

Now, a notice for all you FanFiction readers! A new story is being told about an older time... Before The Beginning. A Remus/Lily story set in the Marauder era. I recommend you all check this out! The author is a great friend of mine and after reading a few different parts, I think it's fantastic. (I'll note that I am a strong James/Lily shipper, but I want you to know that this story is set while they are in third year, before the James/Lily romance began) Chapter 1 is now up - go check it out!
